Reverse The Trap of Society #25

11th December 2024

As the year draws to a close I reflect on 2024. What has deeply motivated me to connect with some amazing souls on the podcast and their wisdom and knowledge? A deep desire and passion inside. In our society, is it normal to ask: what lights you up, what sparks you, what makes you grow? No. This is why I am conflicted with the way society operates. This is why I do what I do, as a coach, as a podcaster, as a learner. I believe we are consciousness looking in on itself, and the second we stop evolving, we disconnect from universal intelligence, the primal source of creation.

The problem.

Collectively we are not set up for human optimisation. To grow. To expand consciously, financially, health wise. Instead the corporate work structure, the set ‘religious’ groups require a humans mind to conform, not to their own authentic heart and talents but to a set mould. A mould of expectation, of efficiency, of extraction. Relationships between co-workers, families and friends often do not advocate on the premise of growth and private sovereignity but rather co-dependancy.

I will not go into the nature of empire or colonial roots in this writing. However it is important to understand this way of being is rooted in lack, fear, force and control. Ultimately it leads to the destruction of the environment, between cultures and our own nature. Rather than allowing a natural evolution to emerge from that organic beings resonance. However I have also noticed in myself anger towards this. From a Sikh lens seeing this as an organic game of consciousness: darkness and light in the age of Kaljug (Kali Yuga) according to the Solar Systems position in the galaxy, affecting human subtle awareness, has helped me give more grace in challenging situations.

This results in a lot of complaining, powerlessness and built up unexpressed rage due to stagnancy and suppression of the being. Which can be over ancestral generations (divine rage/bir rass).

The solution.

Rather than complain, what is the solution to light someone up, to heal, to grow? I believe it is to first ‘Go Slow’ to know yourself, your strengths, your challenges, what lights you up. Like a monk understanding, watching the mind, cultivating compassion. Or a child like wonder exploring the vastness of space. Using the timeless unmanifested (nirgun) wisdom of ‘Piri’ ਪੀਰੀ (Peer, wise man in Arabic). Creating a separation from the triggers and expectations of the outside world, while tuning into the resonance of your being. This is essentially a decoupling of consciousness from the negative unconscious collective to an authentic inner alignment:

  • Meditation
  • Nature Walks
  • Journalling/Brainstorming

Rather than dwelling in the space of zero, ‘chun’ and stillness. We still have to ‘Go Far’ to achieve a material result aligned to your resonance, purpose and dharma. We must create a velocity from ‘zero’ to ‘one’ state. Using the manifested (sargun), time bound wisdom of ‘Miri’ ਮੀਰੀ (Amir, sovereign king in Arabic). The inner authority of the warrior clears his/her path through the trained slice of the sword. Unlike a follower soldier, the warrior is sovereign to choose their battles.

  • Learning in group consciousness
  • Actioning a list of fears
  • Engaging in playful creation

Infinite Potential

Through the iterative process of ‘Go Slow to Go Far‘ we evolve, course correct and grow. This creates an unlimited loop of expansion, or infinity ∞.

A common issue is some people stay in a materially detached state having no dharma (zero state) or equally there are those constantly doing, but feeling unfulfilled inside seeking a goal (one pointed).

We want to flow with infinity, doing it whole heartedly – from devotion. By anchoring in the heart, this is an inner emotional and mental state of playful creation – a high spiritual state just like the universe itself. Where both the unmanifested and manifested exist simultaneously.

Maintenance (Vishnu personified) is needed on the parts that serve and destruction (Shiva personified) is needed on the parts which fall out of resonance. Like scaffolding a stem and pruning dead leaves. The creative force (Brahma personafied) keeps unfolding the process. The Guru (dark to light) is the conscious awareness and discernment of all three forces.

We may start but not know where we end up abit like a seed growing into a large oak tree. This is known as Wu Wei (無爲), Hukam ( ਹੁਕਮਿ) or Flow State where we are in a state of effortless action. Resulting in optimum Prana, Mana or Life-Force energy flowing through the fragment of source consciousness which we are!

My hope is to build on the reflective and philosophical work of my early twenties with metaphysical and inner work of my mid twenties to create foundations for a real space of decentralised tailored learning:

The free community is built to connect you with like minded individuals and know about yourself to ‘Go Slow to Go Far’ and live your dharma ‘Whole Heartedly’.
