To unlearn the system modern education has programmed we will: Enlighten The Heart to Unshackle The Mind
Have you noticed, people repeating a certain matrix like lifestyle feeling invisibly oppressed, emotionally despondant, not enjoying the Mon-Fri ‘grind’? Many countless people talk about this on social media. I have certainly questioned it, I cannot find fault logically, but my hearts intuitive wisdom does not agree. But what is this system? Why does it work the way it does? Who taught us to follow this? Have you questioned this my dear reader?
Perhaps you too feel confused, oppressed and drained from your work. I have heard many a time, very smart brilliantly educated people saying they feel like a ‘monkey’ in front of a keyboard and to make it worse…stressed.

Context
What does this mean at a deeper level, a society is busy with low energy (vibration) disconnected from their families, their bodies, their own nature and passions aka their fire aka power. I have talked with many people flying from their native lands leaving their family just to get a good paying ‘mechanistic’ job but with no life to live. What are the priorities here in society? We can see how ancestral ways of living from warm reprocity degrades into isolatory transactions.
Let’s talk about your power. Do you know what it is, do you respect it, how do you use it? I am certainly on this journey. Even writing this is an experiment to try to find my voice, expression and power. If not, power is siphoned from the heart and creative expression into tasks and productivity for the mind to repeat. A siloed experience with a smart degree. In Roman times: “Slavery in ancient Rome played an important role in society and the economy. Unskilled or low-skill slaves labored in the fields, mines, and mills. Does it sound familiar: data entry, fast-turn around, bottom line, low pay, efficiency => corporate. Not just traditonal corporate systems but health systems (doctors), education (teachers), financial (banks) and more. I have no problems with humble jobs, I enjoy cleaning the bathroom and helping where it’s needed. However I have been trying to cultivate my discernment on a system which subtly does not look to optimise human potential for it’s own gain…and I do not think I am alone.
In contrast, in Ancient Indian Civilisation (before caste-system consolidation), the curriculum covered a wide range of subjects, including the Vedas, Upanishads, Vedangas, mathematics, astronomy, medicine, ethics, philosophy, literature, and performing arts for all. During the Sikh period these centres where known as Bungas cultivating knowledge on Kirtan (music), Ayurveda (medicine) and Shashtar Vidya (strategic and combative military knowledge). Bunga is a word of Persian language which means
a dwelling place where people from diverse religions could live together. Doesn’t that sound like true growth?

Problem (The Anti-Vision):
At the core the ‘intellect’ has been worshipped highly above all else. A lack of decoupling, presence, is causing a self-destruction by it’s own egoic complex and towards nature itself. Because intelligence without wisdom can be manipulated and extracted for tumour like ‘growth’. It sees itself as separate from reality and tries to survive by material gain and logic only.
While I have respect for doctors etc, in the immigrant community there is such a high degree of stress put onto stable job, salary that we do not even question the system that we are putting our time, money and energy into. So we pursue the validation of a title or degree only to have it be shiny marketing badge of an institution which priorities are not necessarily your soul but your mind and it’s profits. We need to rethink what security truly means. Where do you place your roots and trust?
The school system is broken; learning through rewards, memorising, completing tasks but not how to learn or question. This only creates followers who are told what to learn. Never why, or how to learn. Creating a perfect generation of robots who end up being fearful of real learning (failing) as this is outside the ‘rules’ or domain of the programmed mind. This is something I am personally learning. Have you learned in school how to start your own business? The history of colonialisation? Or perhaps how power works?
I have been through my University years watching YouTube on my iPad, memorising slides, procrastinating fighting my inner demons because I was forcing myself, and still getting an engineering degree. It made me memorise knowledge not cultivate wisdom. The same with school – only memorisation of facts and endless equations and past papers for the exam. In this set up even the teachers are not held of high value at all. I do not want to throw the baby out with the bath water however, as there is an importance to discipline and socialisation. But this is taught extrinsically not cultivated intrinscially.
Why is this?
A clue: Macaulay stated in the British Parliament minute on education in 1835:
“We must at present do our best to form a class who may be interpreters between us and the millions whom we govern; a class of persons, Indian in blood and colour, but English in taste, in opinions, in morals, and in intellect.” “A single shelf of a good European library was worth the whole native literature of India and Arabia”
Now if we take this colonial way of thinking and overlay our current education regime, we are essentially replacing the “whole native” childs own natural learning impulses and curious view of reality with a “single shelf system” that is defined and “forms a class” “in taste, in opinions, in morals, and in intellect”, to fit in a box. Do we see the parallels?

Solution (The Vision):
Re-think this from the ground up…de-centralised learner led centres, making teachers transform from autocrats into facilitators, the teacher is in the sangat/community, who want to learn according to their natural disposition.
Reverse engineer the programming to empower people through accessible information, integration and group implementation to love their unique dharma. I understand this requires a base level fundamental shift in belief from seeing ourselves as isolated mind driven human to a fractal of universal source consciousness being. This would require a deep dive into the belief systems of individual and collective fears of uncertainty in order to move with heart centered trust of interconnectedness.
Although I was not aware of this at first, my podcasts aim is to empower you to question reality and to actually learn knowledge you can’t receive at school and hopefully very few places.
So to find the solution we must first ask and assume: why are you not living in alignment? Recognise you do not know yourself -> conformed to a path not aligned to you -> educated and socialised through a system -> competed tasks as a ‘follower’ mindset a family/education/corporate system -> initial metaphysical consequence of disconnecting the heart and mind -> mind-heart incoherence due to silencing the creative voice of source universal intelligence. As we can see from this break down, you not knowing your ‘self’ is a systemic issue that emodies profound political and spiritual significance.
To feel this, know and express this intellectually and eloquently is the first step in being awake to your potential. Your dharma purpose is rooted in a sovereign force from the system you are emerging from.
Therefore knowing and following your dharma is an act of defiance and rebellion against non-physical and physical systems of extraction and oppression.
Bravery to trust in that force is crucial and at first intimidating.
My vision is to build a modern ‘Bunga‘/’Lyceum‘ valuing heart-centred beings to define success. To create foundations for a real space of decentralised tailored learning:
- Free Community (Sangat)
- Personality Package & Meditations (Simran, remembering form and formless self)
- Illuminating Dialogues Podcast (Seva in the form of Gyana Yoga)
The free community is built to connect you with like minded individuals and know about yourself to ‘Go Slow to Go Far’ and live your unique dharma ‘Whole Heartedly’.
